27th May 2009, 4:00 am, Singapore, Changi Airport
All set to go. Did a light packing last night. Packed a few shirts, jeans, undies...etc...of course, all the shirts were RED...2 of them were Man-Utd jersey...dad sent me to Changi Airport at 3.00 am...flight was at 6.00 am...boy, it sure was dark...will be taking Singapore Airways...according to the booking, it will be an Airbus...the 1st time i'll be taking an airbus...dad sent me as far as the depature hall...from there onwards...i was...ALONE...ALL ALONE...FREE...haha...as i had about 1 1/2 hours to spare, i stopped by the Sony shop...Sony shop? for what? well, to play PS3 of course...there, was 2 PS3 for people to demo...and 1 of the demo game was FIFA 09...played Man-Utd v.s Barca...preview of the Champions League Final...beat them soundly 3-0...Rooney, Ronaldo(freekick) & Scholes...left for my departure gate...Gate E10...on the airplane, much time was spent watching movies...from this, i realised that each airplane will cater to it's destination...ex. my flight...since it's destination is rome, italy, it has quite some italian movies, football matches, italian drama's...all in english of course...watched X-Men The Origins : Wolverine, 300, Don't Mess With The Zohan & Terminator : Salvation(not yet premier in S'pore & M'sia...but oledi in Italy)...had breakfast...sausage, rosted red pepper & spinach torta rustica with italian coffee(beats M'sian ones)...for lunch, i had lasagna della casa(some kind of italian cheese with chicken meat) with italian salad(rocket, baby tomatoes, crusted bread with olive oil dressing...after 13 hours & 40 mins on the plane...i finally heard the captain's voice again. "Welcome to Roma, Italia. It's 29˚C, 1:40 pm. Please adjust your watch to match the time. Thank You"...Fiumicino Airport or better known as the Leonardo da Vinci Airport...in Italian, it's called the Aeroporto Leonardo da Vinci di Fiumicino...it is also Italy's largest airport & second largest international gateway according to the Airport Imformation...busy like all airports, i really felt like a stranger...all around me, people was utterring Italian...btw, i landed in terminal c...after checking in, went straight to the Info Center to ask how was i going to get to my motel, Accomodation Bed In Rome...the lady at the counter said i could either take the Metro(train) or the taxi...as i was carrying luggage, she suggested the taxi, which would cost around 5 euros(RM 24+)...expensive man...next, had to check in...dad said it would cost 37 euroes(RM 182+)...room was a 1 person room...but the bed was a queen size...the man at the motel said all motels in italy do not have single beds...anyway, put my stuff down & went sightseing in Rome...oso had a quick walk to go and get the papers. I bought the Mirror, printed today in Rome and costing 2 euros, and La Gazzetta della Sport. The renowned Italian paper describes the final as Lo Show di Roma, the show of Rome.
My next post will be about the Match itself...wait for it...

United fan Mark Froggatt praises Ji-sung Park's impact on the Reds...
When Sir Alex Ferguson announced the signing of Ji-sung Park in the summer of 2005, my immediate reaction was one of complete scepticism. I theorised how the South Korean was only bought to boost shirt sales in Asia and would provide very little influence on first-team action.
At the time, United were two seasons without a league title and some of Sir Alex's signings, uncharacteristically, had not worked out, most notably in the shape of Kleberson and Eric Djemba-Djemba. I feared Park would be next.
My doubts over the manager's transfer activity were exposed as a naïve assumption about Asian football, as Park excelled in a United shirt and won over my respect (for what it's worth).
At present, the Korean midfielder is a cult hero among the Old Trafford support and holds membership to a select group of players at United who may not command many column inches, but make enough impact to deserve them.
I’m talking of course about the likes of Darren Fletcher, John O’Shea and Michael Carrick - who are the complete 21st-century team players and unsung heroes. The types of players that will walk away with nothing at this Sunday’s end-of-season awards ceremony, but deserve all the plaudits.
Park has proved to be a vital cog in the United machine after scoring big-game goals against Middlesbrough and Arsenal - and if you believe what you read in the papers, his starting place against Barcelona is guaranteed.
However, I am beginning to lose count of the arguments I’ve had with opposition supporters, who still fail to recognise the talents of South Korea’s captain and question his adulation at Old Trafford. But my response is always simple.
Contrary to reports, United fans are not the fickle, glory-hunting prawn sandwich brigade the media portrays us to be. We recognise when players give everything they’ve got for the cause and Park does just that - and more. His attitude is a joy to behold and barring perhaps Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney, he arguably covers more ground than anyone else on the pitch.
A more critical individual may point to Park's lack of end product in important areas, but for me, he more than makes up for that in heart and soul.
Credit is due of course to the big man himself, Sir Alex, who not only recognised his talent but saw in him the right kind of spirit and determination that was going to take the club forward. Also, a reported fee of just £4million looks a real bargain in today's inflated transfer market.
So, in a time when some professional footballers are pictured in nightclubs more often than on the training pitch, Ji-sung Park is not only a credit to himself, but to the game as a whole. And I am proud to call him a United player.
The views expressed in this blog are personal to the author and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Manchester United

Once again...it's SONGS!!!
Here's another song i think it's cool...Avenged Sevenfold-Afterlife...enjoy!!!
The Lyrics:-
Like walking into a dream, so unlike what you've seen
So unsure but it seems, cause weve been waiting for you
Fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste
Of your afterlife here so stay, you'll be back here soon anyway
I see a distant light, but girl this can't be right
Such a surreal place to see so how did this come to be
Arrived too early
And when I think of all the places I just don't belong
I've come to grips with life and realize this is going too far
I don't belong here, we gotta move on dear
Escape from this afterlife
Cause this time I'm right to move on and on
Far away from here
A place of hope and no pain, perfect skies with no rain
Can leave this place but refrain, cause we've been waiting for you
Fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste
Of your afterlife here so stay, you'll be back here soon anyway
This peace on earth's not right (with my back against the wall)
No pain or sign of time (Im much too young to fall)
So out of place don't wanna stay, I feel wrong and that's my sign
I've made up my mind
Give me your hand but realize I just wanna say goodbye
Please understand I have to leave and carry on my own life
I don't belong here, I gotta move on dear
escape from this afterlife
Cause this time I'm right to move on and on,
far away from here
Got nothing against you and surely I'll miss you
This place full of peace and light, and Id hope you might
Take me back inside when the time is right
Loved ones back home all crying cause they're already missing me
I pray by the grace of God that there's somebody listening
Give me a chance to be that person I wanna be
(I am unbroken; Im choking on this ecstasy)
Oh Lord I'll try so hard but you gotta let go of me
(Unbreak me, unchain me, I need another chance to live)
I don't belong here, I gotta move on dear
escape from this afterlife
Cause this time I'm right to move on and on,
far away from here
Got nothing against you and surely I'll miss you
This place full of peace and light, and Id hope you might
Take me back inside when the time is right

Song
This is a NEW SONG by Chris Daughtry...No Surprise...ENJOY!!!
Lyrics:
I've practiced this for hours, gone round and round
And now I think that I've got it all down
And as I say it louder I love how it sounds
Cause I'm not taking the easy way out
Not wrapping this in ribbons
Shouldn't have to give a reason why...
It's NO SURPRISE I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was NO SURPRISE
It came out like a river once I let it out
When I thought that I wouldn't know how
Held onto it forever just pushing it down
Felt so good to let go of it now
Not wrapping this in ribbons
Shouldn't have to give a reason why
It's NO SURPRISE I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
There's nothing here in this heart left to borrow
There's nothing here in this soul left to say
Don't be surprised when we hate this tomorrow
God know we tried to find an easier way
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was NO SURPRISE
Our favorite place we used to go
The warm embrace that no one knows
The loving look that's left your eyes
That's why this comes as no, as NO SURPRISE
If I could see the future and how this plays out
I bet it's better than where we are now
But after going through this, it's easier to see the reason why
It's NO SURPRISE I won't be here tomorrow
I can't believe that I stayed till today
Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow
But I know in time we'll find this was NO SURPRISE
The kiss goodnight, it comes with me
Both wrong and right, our memories
The whispering before we sleep, just one more thing that you can't keep
Our favorite place we used to go
The warm embrace that no one knows
The loving look that's left your eyes
But I know in time we'll find this was NO SURPRISE
