Possible interest for Torres

LIVERPOOL - Fernando Torres, striker at Liverpool, has the interest of Chelsea. Torres is an important link in the squad of agung silaban. It is hard to believe that Liverpool would accept the offer made by Chelsea. It is rumoured that an amount of 40.8 million euros million euros has been mentioned as a possible transfer sum for Torres. We may presume that Liverpool will at the very least consider such a high offer.

Benzema to Real...Owen(Michael) to Man-Utd...

Owen set for United move...yes Owen...Michael Owen...man, i couldn't contain myself when i read the news at Man-Utd.com...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...laughed like a mad hatter...anyway, if he does well at MU, den i'll shut ny mouth...but if he end up like berbatov, den u guys hv a "very intresting post 2 read"....anyway, dis is wat happen...
Michael Owen is expected at Manchester United for a medical examination this morning ahead of an extraordinary move out of the wilderness to join the Premier League champions. Owen, a player dumped by the England manager, Fabio Capello, and widely written off as an individual lacking the appetite and physical fitness to make it in the top flight, is expected to have signed by the end of today, provided he passes a medical which is likely to be stringent, given his injury record. For the United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, it would be the fulfilment of an old ambition, as he admired Owen when the striker was a youngster in Liverpool's youth set-up. "We wanted to sign him," Ferguson once said. "But we weren't prepared to meet his father's requirements so he signed for Liverpool." It is unclear how much Owen will earn but it seems likely his salary at United will be highly incentivised, with Ferguson presumably harbouring concerns that after four years of persistent injury during his spell with Newcastle United at St James' Park he may lack the physical durability to play a role at Old Trafford. A one-year rolling deal seems possible. For Owen, the incentives also include proving to Capello that he warrants a World Cup place at next summer's finals in South Africa

YES WE CAN? YES WE CAN NEXT TIME...

ok, the CONFEDERATIONS CUP in South Africa ended in the wee hours of 5am...won by Brazil...BUT, what a FINALE...what a FINALE...end to end stuff? goals galore? incident plague match? no, no, no...thrilling comeback was what it was...the Americans entered the final as potential upsetters...having looked as if the tournement was ALL OVER FOR THEM...they beat Egypt 3-0 to advance to the semis at the expense of heavily favoured Italians...next up, guess who? here's a clue...a team on a 35-match unbeaten streak, european champions, torres, villa...ring a bell??? YES, it's the tournament FAVOURITES, Spain...end result? USA 2 Spain 0...YES no joke...USA beat Spain...not wif skills, talent or star players...BUT wif BRAINS & SKILLS...& HEY PRESTO...USA r in the finals...wonder what Bob Bradly the coach said to the players???

Bradly : " K guys, this is it, the final group game...win this by 3 goals or more, we're through to the semis...if Obama says "America, can we change the world? YES WE CAN!!!", then I'll say "America, can we enter the semis? YES WE CAN!!!"

against Spain, Bradly used his BRAINS...he exploited the Spaniards weakness, made their stars play for individual gain & abandon their usual team play & MADE XAVI LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE FOOL(if only Man-Utd had done the same)...USA won 2-0...pandemonium all over America...soccer one of the still growing sports in the States, suddenly took center stage...forget NBA, baseball, American Football & WWE...soccer took center stage...every newspaper, frm the NY Times, Washington Post, Chicago Daily...etc, had stories of USA soccer team amazing feat on front page news...YES WE CAN...

against Brazil, USA had nothing to play for...lose, they still go out HEADS HIGH...win, OMG, pandemonuim in USA...so, the finale...1st half, USA 2, Brazil 0...shocker mate?? yep...shocker...USA scored wif their 1st attack...a seemingly harmless cross frm Sepctor was diverted into the net by none other then Dempsey(predicted he would score)...next up, Donovan launched a superb, quick-fire rugby stlye counter attack, exchanging a pass with Altidore, before cutting in Lucio &...wait for it...SCORE...a superb strike in the bottom corner...YES WE CAN...2nd half...sad story man...sad...40 secs in, Fabiano scored...67th mins, he scored again(top scorer wif 5 goals)...USA, what d hell happen man??? where's the discipline at the back??? where's the composure??? where's the give it all tackle??? all gone...vanished into thin air...then, RIGHT AT THE END...

Commentator : "Corner to Brazil...clock ticking by, few mins to go...Elano will step up for this...can Brazil score? or will it be extra-time? ball swings in...Lucio;s header...OMG...MY WORD...I'LL SAY...BRAZIL SCORES...2-NIL DOWN, IT'S NOW 3-2 RIGHT AT THE END...haha...serves USA right...what did i say? defend the 2 goal lead & not get cocky...see? NOW YOU'VE LOST ALL...

quote for th match...USA : YES WE CAN...YES WE CAN NEXT TIME...NOT NOW...
BRAZIL : YES WE CAN...NOT NEXT TIME, NOT LATER, NOT NEVER...YES
WE CAN ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, NOW...

k guys, cheerio matez...willawonks...
ps: man i juz love u ppl...

More Pics frm Google...

Manchestrer United New Home Kit 2009/2010

United's new home kit for the 2009/10 campaign has been officially unveiled and you can now see it in all its glory below...

The red kit, celebrates 100 years of Old Trafford with a large chevron across the chest, reflecting the design of the shirts worn by United when the stadium first opened during the 1909/10 season.

The back of the shirt has an engineered mesh, which is a series of small chevrons, a performance feature to offer the players even greater ventilation during games. Inside the black round-neck collar is a high quality woven label in red, white and black, while engineered into the side seam is a small label that reads ‘The Theatre of Dreams Since 1910.’

The shirt is made from Nike Dri-Fit fabric, which keeps the players drier, cooler and lighter by drawing sweat from the body to the fabric’s surface, while it’s three-dimensional construction gives more air space around the skin to reduce clinging.

The white shorts have a red stripe along the side, a red devil graphic on the back of the waist band, while the draw cords feature 'MUFC' on the tips. The black socks have a red chevron on the calf.

The players will don the kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of Asia next month.

Players Comments:-
Wayne Rooney says it's an honour to wear the shirt week in, week out and is looking forward to pulling on the latest design.

Ji-sung Park echoed those sentiments, adding: "It always feels great to put the kit on and there is always a great meaning behind our kits. History is very important at this club and it’s something all the players are aware of.
"I really like the chevron feature – I like to think of it as ‘V’ for victory and hopefully we can win every game we play in the new kit."

Went to see my Economics teacher Mr. Yong. Told him i wasn't going to be sitting for the Makroeconomics paper on Wednesday.
Mr. Yong : "WHY? You didn't study is it? Not prepare ah?"

Me : "No lah Sir, relax. Of course i did study. It's just that i will be going to Rome to watch the Champions League Final on Wednesday."

Mr. Yong : "Wah, your football so important, my Makro paper not lah?"

Me : "No lah Sir. Important. Makro important. But i already bought tickets mah, so have to go"

Mr. Yong : "Sigh...ok, go lor go lor. Enjoy yourself. Have fun. But don't come crying to me when you fail Econs for your STPM. Make sure you take the paper after the holidays"

Me : "Thank you Sir. Don't worry, will pass Econs for STPM. Will take the paper on Friday affternoon"

27th May 2009, 4:00 am, Singapore, Changi Airport

All set to go. Did a light packing last night. Packed a few shirts, jeans, undies...etc...of course, all the shirts were RED...2 of them were Man-Utd jersey...dad sent me to Changi Airport at 3.00 am...flight was at 6.00 am...boy, it sure was dark...will be taking Singapore Airways...according to the booking, it will be an Airbus...the 1st time i'll be taking an airbus...dad sent me as far as the depature hall...from there onwards...i was...ALONE...ALL ALONE...FREE...haha...as i had about 1 1/2 hours to spare, i stopped by the Sony shop...Sony shop? for what? well, to play PS3 of course...there, was 2 PS3 for people to demo...and 1 of the demo game was FIFA 09...played Man-Utd v.s Barca...preview of the Champions League Final...beat them soundly 3-0...Rooney, Ronaldo(freekick) & Scholes...left for my departure gate...Gate E10...on the airplane, much time was spent watching movies...from this, i realised that each airplane will cater to it's destination...ex. my flight...since it's destination is rome, italy, it has quite some italian movies, football matches, italian drama's...all in english of course...watched X-Men The Origins : Wolverine, 300, Don't Mess With The Zohan & Terminator : Salvation(not yet premier in S'pore & M'sia...but oledi in Italy)...had breakfast...sausage, rosted red pepper & spinach torta rustica with italian coffee(beats M'sian ones)...for lunch, i had lasagna della casa(some kind of italian cheese with chicken meat) with italian salad(rocket, baby tomatoes, crusted bread with olive oil dressing...after 13 hours & 40 mins on the plane...i finally heard the captain's voice again. "Welcome to Roma, Italia. It's 29˚C, 1:40 pm. Please adjust your watch to match the time. Thank You"...Fiumicino Airport or better known as the Leonardo da Vinci Airport...in Italian, it's called the Aeroporto Leonardo da Vinci di Fiumicino...it is also Italy's largest airport & second largest international gateway according to the Airport Imformation...busy like all airports, i really felt like a stranger...all around me, people was utterring Italian...btw, i landed in terminal c...after checking in, went straight to the Info Center to ask how was i going to get to my motel, Accomodation Bed In Rome...the lady at the counter said i could either take the Metro(train) or the taxi...as i was carrying luggage, she suggested the taxi, which would cost around 5 euros(RM 24+)...expensive man...next, had to check in...dad said it would cost 37 euroes(RM 182+)...room was a 1 person room...but the bed was a queen size...the man at the motel said all motels in italy do not have single beds...anyway, put my stuff down & went sightseing in Rome...oso had a quick walk to go and get the papers. I bought the Mirror, printed today in Rome and costing 2 euros, and La Gazzetta della Sport. The renowned Italian paper describes the final as Lo Show di Roma, the show of Rome.

My next post will be about the Match itself...wait for it...
