31.12.2008, 11:59 p.m. .... d last DAY, last HOUR & last SECOND...WHAT WILL U DO??? will u be out partying wif frens & family? or will it be partying at a countdown event? or will it be spending dat time juz reminiscing d event's of 2008? or will u be soundly asleep in ur comfy bed? i noe i won't be going or throwing a countdown party...though i wish i had...but i noe i will cheerish d last moment of 2008 like no other moment in 2008...no only is dat time d last of 2008 but oso d begining of a NEW YEAR...2009!! d year 2008 has left me behind wif lot's of unforgetable, live changing & history making events...frm politics, disasters, sports to break-through in science...2008 saw a massive change in Malaysia...in 2008, we held our 21st election...& 4 d 1st time in many long years...d NATION spoke up...D ENTIRE NATION...in many previous election, d winner could be fortold or predicted b4 voting started...dis time, it was d same...but d final result was certainly shocking & it triggered a massive shockwaves around d country...our gov oni won by d slimmest of margin(4got how many)...while d opposition made signifcant strides towards toppling d gov...which goes 2 show how far our nation has mature...in d US election...we saw 4 d 1st time a black man by d name of Barrack Obama going 4 d presidency...& boy, did he capture d hearts & imagination of Americans ppl wif his "IN CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN" slogan...soon nt juz d Americans but d whole world was behind his back...b4 d voting even began...d world had oledi nominated him as president...come election day, WIN he did...& a big win it was...not oni was he d 1st black US president, his win oso showed dat America was finally ready 4 a change...2008 was oso d Olympic year...held in China 4 d 1st time...it was deemed d most successful & best Olympic in history, despite all d many problems b4 d event & during d event...d Olympic saw swimmmer Phelps win 8 golds as well as Bolt setting new word records en route 2 his gold medal victory...in football, MU ended d year on a high...becaming d 1st team in europe 2 end d year as champs of eng, europe & d world...M'sia was not far behind as well...another great year 4 Nicol David...she won all d tournements she competed in...however despite having many great moments in 2008, as d saying goes...nothing is perfect...2008 was oso another year filled wof disasters...frm d Sicuan earthquake to d Mumbia bombings...d world was once again left 2 reflect on it's misery...many lives were lost again...ppl left disfigured, homeless & some parentless...thankfully...help & aid was there once again...help frm all over d world came pouring in as d aftermath od d disasters sank into our heart...i wasn't able 2 help but i pray 4 those victims in my heart wif sincerity...2008 oso saw d invasion of Georgia by Russia...in d midst of d Olympic...Russian troops suddenly evaded a state in Georgia...was broke out...there were bombings...gunfire...etc...it took a while b4 things cooled dwn & Russia withdrew it's troops...den towards d end of 2008...juz wen d world was hopping 4 a good end 2 d year...war broke out again...dis time between Israile & Palestine...dunno wat exactly happen but it looks as if 2008 won't have a good end 2 it...sigh...4 me...2008 was a year not 2 4get 4 several reasons...i turned 18, obtained my driving licence, got my new i-pod, MU winning trophies & got selected 4 National Services...there were somethings dat i did 4 d 1st time in my life in 2008...sigining up 2 be a prefect, starting MSN, revealing my f******* 2 someone & starting a blog...DIS BLOG 2 be exact...there r things i would like 2 4 get as well(won't let u noe)...well, as i end d year 2008 & welcome d year 2009...i hope u ppl out there will remember 2008 in ur hearts...HAPPY 2009 PPL...till nxt time den...cheerio!!!

d aftermath of chirstmas...HELL & MADNESSS...
it's after chirstmas...presents hv been ripped open by those eager hands, turkey oledi digested in d tummy, chirstmas trees taken down & kept in boxes till nxt year, greeting cards kept as well, d festive spirt dies dwn as we get ready 4 d new year...i'm talking as if i actually celebrate chirstmas & did all these things...well, i don't & didn't...juz wrote dat 4 fun...well, did enjoy my chirstmas...went 2 jusco & TGIF is planned...but not 2 d movies...it was late or so in my parents view...dad got 2 work d nxt day...blah,blah,blah...anyway had a great time...dat is, TILL boxing day...at night...boxing day started wif me waking up extra late, 12:00 2 be exact...d day passed by wif d usual stuff...did some study, played FM, on9, bsktball...d oni significant thing of d affternoon was lunch...had popiah's 4 lunch 2day...dunno why, but i suddenly had d urge 2 eat something different 2day...feels kinda weird wen i normaly will hv a simple lunch wen mum's around...luck 4 me, my mum was oso in d popiah mood & so off we went 2 get some...bought extras 4 d nite where i'll be watching MU play Stoke...which speaking bout d match really made me boil...had dat weird feeling again wen i watch MU play...been hving dis weird feeling ever since i watch d MU-Sunderland match...had d geling we were gona struggle BIG TIME...true enough...WE DID...in my opinion...we should be winning comfortably against teams like Stoke...no disrespect 2 Stoke(they played well)...i mean, wen playing an away game...u noe it's never gona be easy...but 4 a team like MU...there should be minimum problems & fuss against these kind of teams...we were lucky 2 come off wif a 1-nil win...even d goal was scored at d 84th min...sigh...we r nt d kind of team we were at dis stage last season...wen we were scoring goals 4 fun...now, it's seems like d goals r hard 2 come by...even i hv 2 admit dat Barcelona r d best team at d moment...never mind us being d English, European & World Champions...anyway...half-way through d match...i suddenly tot of d nite b4...i was watching a movie...Alexender d Great...pretty boring movie i tot...was riddiculing myself 4 wasting my time watching dat movie...WEN it suddenly struck me dat i SHOULDN'T hv been watching dat movie...I SHOULD BE WATCHING HEROES...shit...i was definately PISSED OFF...!! kept cursing myself 4 forgetting such an important thing...made myself swore dat i would watch d episode on9 or d replay b4 i watch d nxt week's one(am watching d episode as i write dis post)...selpt pretty late dat nite...12:00...stayed up late 4 no reason...spent d nite flicking channels aimlessly...oh well guess dat's it 4 now...NOTE TO SELF:never let joy or other things get over my head...will tend 2 4get important events...like 4getting 2 watch heroes...cheerio!!!

i noe i'm too old 4 santa claus...oledi 18...bt still, who can blame me 4 still having d urge 2 ask something frm d jolly red man? haha...well, if i do see him, which all i nid 2 do is juz head dwn 2 any shopping malls...i'd probably hv a list 2 ask him...being an extremly good boy dis year(bullshit)...he'd probably grant me all my wish...well, here's a list of wat i'd ask if i ever met d guy...

MERRY X-MAS ppl....it's yet another chirstmas...hopping to see santa claus dis year...got stuff 2 ask him....haha...anyway...in d season of giving & goodwill...i reckon we should enjoy it to d fullest....why? cos 4 me as a student...it means schools near...come chirstmas...it means d new year's coming....AND....dat means schools starting...SO? gotta enjoy my remaining days of my soon ending holidays...plan 2 start x-mas wif a trip 2 Jusco...hopping 2 get a gift 4 myself(wondering wat should i get)...den a trip 2 TGV Fridays 4 an x-mas dinner...after dat maybe head over 2 CS 4 a movie(australia?)...nxt head bck home 4 a nap b4 playing FM...boxing day will be all bout playing FM & watching soccer...d following few days till new year's day will probably be filled up wif playing FM, downloading more music, watching soccer, doing ntg bt daydream & other nt yet define stuff...so, b4 i end, i juz wanna take d opportunity 2 wish all a HAPPY X-MAS once again...oh, & i would like 2 express my regrets dat raj & resh r nt holding any x-mas parties...would hv liked 2 attend...hahaha...anyway, remember:ENJOY D FESTIVE SEASON 2 D FULLEST...U DON'T WANT 2 END UP WISHING U HAD DONE MORE 2 ENJOYED IT BETTER...cheerio!!!!!

d trophy all want to win...bout half an hour ago...d draw 4 d UEFA Champions League last 16 juz concluded...quite a unfavourable draw in my opinion...4 ur info...d final 16 clubs in d Champions League r as follows:

d draw was made with d teams who topped their group playing against d second place team in d group...teams frm d same group or same country cannot play against each other...as thus, d draw was as followed:

Survivor Gabon...
d entire contestants of survivior gabon
d winner & derservingly so...BOB!
BOB looking cool...!i hv been following d survivor series 4 as long as i can remember...definatly nt frm d 1st episode, bt 4 a long time oledi...4 those who dun watch d show or haven't heard bout it...here's a quick guide...depending on d producers...a total of 16-25 or more americans will be selected frm different gender & age group...starting frm 18yrs+ i think(nt so sure)...they will stay on an island with ntg bt huge forest, rivers, wild animals as well as fishes...they will hv 2 build their own homes(normaly a hut), find their own food as well as learning 2 survive outside d morden world...they will compete in challenges(both tribal & individual) to earn rewards(food, fire, fishing gear, comfort, etc) as well as imunity(keeps on safe in d game)...so as with Survivor Gabon...dis season saw 16 americans frm all walks of life taking part...splitted into 2 groups...Kota & Fang...both tribes had 2 compete in challenges dat would earn them rewards as well as imunity...all challenges r made 2 test d team spirit among fellow tribe members as well as personal character & fighting spirit...frm these challenges, we will noe who r d weak ones & strong ones...being strong in dis game doesn't nesscarry mean having lot's of muscle...but sometimes oso means d brain...as it is with Bob...well, during d tribal challenges, Kota seems 2 be d stronger tribe...hving gd communication, teamwork, cohesiveness as well as fighting spirit among d members, winning 12 out of 13 challenges(both reward & imunity)...thus giving them numerical advantage wen d both tribes merge...alas as d saying goes :numbers don't make ur day but a smart brain does(made dis crap myself)...d Kota members found themselves ousted 1 by 1 by d Fong members who in general r lacking in members...a smart moves by d Fong members, Crystal, Ken & Suger in particular saw prominent Kota members like Charlie & Marcus get voted out early....d dislikable Randy making himself a HUGE fool & laughing stock b4 bein voted out... dat poor guy was given a fake imunity idol dat he tot would save his live & shock d Fong members...oh, a imunity idol prevents u frm being voted out...unlike d normal imunity which last oni 4 1 tribal council...d imunity idol is a 1 & oni in d game...it can be oni used once bt can be kept till d final 5...meanings it has a longer protection period...bt beware if others noe u hv it...they might try flushing it out by purposely voting 4 u even though d votes dun count...at least d took out ur idol...anyway...these r nt important...Bob is...i must say i am very impress with dis guy...he's 50+ yet he's a huge threat...Bob who looks frail & thin makes up 4 it with his brillent brains(he's a physic's teacher)...his nice guy attitude oso helps alot...never d one 2 get onto other ppl nerves...he get's along wif other contestants jus fine...oh, & he was d 1 who created 2 fake idols...1 which made a mockery of Randy & 1 which i must say saved his life...his last fake idol caused massive dissruptions among d Fong members, who until d final 6 looked a tight unit...using his smartness & cleverness he won 5 out of d final 6 challenges(both individual reward & imunity)...losing oni d last 1...tying wif d Survivor record of most challenges won in a row by a guy name Henry frm a few season's past...going into d finale...he was certainly d huge favourite coming up against Suger & Suzie...wat he was, d 2 women were juz d exact opposite...they were cunning, nt loyal & always looking 4 symphathy...d finale is were they hv 2 convince d jury(contestants voted out since d merge) dat they r worthy of a vote 4 a million dollars...in d end Bob won 4-3...3 votes going to Suzie...as expected d 4 Kota members all voted 4 him while d 3 Fong members went 4 Suzie....nt oni did Bob win 1million dollars...he oso picked up a 10 thousand us$ 4 being d viewers favourite survivor...well, there goes another season of Survivor...can't wait 4 d new season though...it's somewhere in Brazil...4got d name edi...oh, & dis post was suppose 2 be b4 d Champions League post...bt had 2 be put on hold as i went 2 watch d CL draw...came bck den 4got bout dis post till 2day...anyway, cheerio...!

halfway through d holidays...
holidays...holidays...always great looking 4ward to bt nt wen it's coming to an end...it's up to us to make it memorable...hmm...so far hv spend my holidays basicaly studying, on9, play FM & dwnloading music 2 my i-pod...didn't go outing as much as i would've like...well hv 2 scarifice 4 studies...wat 2 do?...speaking of my i-pod...i should've blogged bout it long time ago...got my new i-pod nano 2 weeks bck...bought it frm s'pore's vivo city...248$...hv bout 165 songs so far...still looking to add more songs though...wonder if i will ever reach d max. 2000 songs...hahax! hmm...worried 4 nxt yr...STPM! nid to really do well or will be wasting 1 1/2 yrs...lost some weight...hmm...glad dat i lost some...was afraid i would put on rather den lose...mst be due d times spent in d gym, pool & bsktball courts...hahax! still waiting 4 d cd version of FM09...oni hv dvd version on sale nw...sigh...getting tired of waiting oledi...well, will blog again nxt time...cherio!
